We are now associated with nationally recognized Marine Fire Investigator, Arthur J. Murphy Jr., from Maze Consultants & Investigations based in Massachusetts.

Mr. Murphy shares office space with us for Florida based marine fire investigations. Mr. Murphy will handle the cause and origin phase of each marine fire investigation, and Mr. McGuinness will provide the necessary support services such as photography, videography, witness location, interviews and sworn and/or voluntary statements. Mr. McGuinness is a former yacht broker and has excellent contacts within the marine industry in Florida.

Arthur J. Murphy, Jr., IAAI-CFI / IAMI-CMI, specializes in fire and explosion origin and cause determination, fire analysis, and scene reconstruction for commercial marine vessels, yachts, power boats, sail boats, marinas, commercial buildings, and residential structures.

Marine Fire InvestigationMurphy is a Certified Fire Investigator (CFI #22-092), accredited through the International Association of Arson Investigators, Inc. (IAAI). He holds the following additonal certifications:

  • Certified Fire Investigator (CFI #179667) through the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (NBFSPQ NFPA-1033)
  • Certified Marine Investigator (CMI #0246-080), accredited through the International Association of Marine Investigators, Inc. (IAMI).

He has provided clients with fire and explosion origin and cause analysis in both national and international fire and explosion investigations.
